Navjot Singh Sidhu now MP, is a former Indian cricketer who represented the country in Tests and ODIs. After retirement from International cricket Navjot Singh Sidhu had a brief stint as a cricket commentator, later he joined politics. Now he is inside the Big Boss House as a contestant.
Navjot Sidhu was born in Punjab’s Patiala city in 1963. In 2004 N S Sidhu was elected to the Lok Sabha as the Member of Parliament from Amritsar constituency on BJP ticket. He was asked to resign by BJP following his conviction. However after the Supreme Court of India stayed his conviction, he again contested the Amritsar Lok Sabha seat and won by a huge margin by defeating his Congress rival Surinder Singla.
