Punjab Armed Police is inviting applications for the posts of Male Constables in the Armed Bns Cadre in Punjab Armed Police.

Number of vacancies for Police Constables – 200 (Reservations as per the Government Norms)

Pay Scale Punjab Armed Police male constables in armed bns. Cadre

Pay Band- 2 = Pay Band 5910-20200+Grade pay Rs. 2000 and other allowances as per the Government rules.

Selected Male Constables in Punjab Armed Police can be deployed anywhere in India Punjab or abroad.

Eligibility for Punjab Armed Police Constables recruitment

Any Citizen of India can apply for this post.

Educational qualifications and age Punjab Armed Police Constables recruitment

The candidates must be 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or university. However only those candidates are eligible to apply who have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as compulsory /optional subject.

Minimum qualification for Ex- Servicemen candidates will be matriculation.

The candidates must be between age group of minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01-01-2011. However there is a relaxation in upper age limit in case of SC / ST and Backward Classes according to the rules.

Ex-Servicemen candidates will be get relaxation in the upper age limit by 3 years plus the number of years of service they did in defence. The maximum period after their retirement or discharge should not exceed 2 years.
