Shiromani Akal Dal Election Manifesto 2012 – Free Laptops to Class XI and XII students in Punjab, Free Land, Atta @ Rs 4 per Kg.
Shiromani Akali Dal has announced the election manifesto for Punjab Assembly Elections 2012. Very high claims have been made by the Shiromani Akali Dal in the Ghoshna Patra (Manifesto). Prakash Singh Badal led Shiromani Akali Dal have tried to lure the young generation by promising Free Laptops with Data Card to all the students of Class XI and XII in Punjab. Although opposition parties have termed this as a false promise the Badal Government is determined and has claimed that they would meet the promise. The government has to spend thousands of crores to meet the promise.
Let us hope the Badal Government if come to power again keep its words of providing Laptops to lakhs of students in Punjab.
Akali Dal has also promised free land to the people who do not own any land. How they are going to implement it would be a huge challenge. Let us hope tha land less get land in the present system which is so corrupt. The benefits of the government schemes are taken by the mafias and some people from within the political system, the genuine people are denied of their rights.
Shiromani Akali Dal has also promised to bring a Lok Pal Bill based on Jan Lok Pal in Punjab to curb Corruption.
The poor will get Atta at Rs 4 per Kg. Farmers will get free electricity.
Many other promises have been made by Shiromani Akali Dal in its Election Manifesto 2012.
After Samajwadi Party’s promise of free Laptops to all the students who have passed 12th and Computer Tablets to students who have passed 10th Shiromani Akali Dal has become the second party who is promising computers and laptops to the students to lure them to vote them.
Let us hope the parties keep their promises if voted for power.
Badal and Mulayam Singh also need to understand that this time they have made the claims to lure students and not the poor. If the government does not meet the promises the poor cannot do anything but beware Mr Badal and Mr Mulayam Singh, the students know how to get their rights if you have promised.
Just imagine lakhs of students coming out on the streets if you will try to deny them with the computers and laptops. Students will not let you make fool out of them so as soon as you are in power please start working on this and don’t think you would linger on till the fourth or fifth year in the power. You have to do this in the very first year otherwise the students will lose their patience.
If are able to meet your promise of providing free laptops, tablets and computers to the students it will definitely be a revolution in the Indian Politics and you will get another term.
Keep corruption out of the schemes please, you have to make sure it is happening and the genuine student is getting his due.
