Aakash 1 Tablet, the cheapest tablet in the world or $35 Dollar Tablet was launched on 5th October 2011 in India. The size of Aakash 1Tablet is 190.5 x 118.5 x 15.7mm and it has 7” resistive screen. The tablet with Android 2.2 operating system Aakash 1 weighs 350 grams. Aakash Tablet has been developed by Datawind.
Aakash 1 has 366 MHz processor with graphic Accelerator.

Aakash 1 Tablet offers 256 MB RAM along with a Micros SD slot, 2 GB Micro SD Card which is expandable to 32 GB.
Aakash Tablet also boasts of 2 USB ports and the battery of Aakash1 Tablet is 2100m Ah with solar charging option. It is Wi-Fi enable and comes with 3.5 mm audio output.

The 800 Megahertz processor in Aakash 2 will also take care of the heating issues in Aakash Tablet along with other other issues like sound quality, system freeze etc.
Aakash 2 has built in Camera and the RAM is 1GB. Aakash 2 users will also be able to download videos from You Tube. You will find an improved screen as well in Aakash 2
